Research
Our research program is currently in development as we prepare for our first formal partnerships, ethical review processes, and data collection through FunctionalMe. This page will grow alongside our work.
What we’re building toward
TEFI’s research program will focus on how trauma, chronic stress, health, environment, and neurodivergence shape executive functioning and daily capacity across the lifespan. Our goal is to generate applied, real-world evidence that can inform care, tools, and public systems.
We are building our research infrastructure intentionally, with attention to ethics, data privacy, and participant trust from the start.
Current research status
Right now, our work is in an early, foundational phase:
- FunctionalMe is in early user testing for usability and stability
- We are preparing for IRB-sponsored research partnerships
- Formal data collection and analysis will begin after regulatory and ethics approvals are in place
We will share study updates, publications, and data use policies here as our research program launches.
